Japan is a great place for visiting, or vacation. There are many fascinating places to go, really tasty food to enjoy, and nice hotels to stay. Now, I am going to show you some places I recommend you to go to in the northernmost of Japan’s main islands—Hokkaido.

Hokkaido is famous for its food, flower fields, and ski areas. Its seafood and agricultural products have a high reputation in Japan too. In Sapporo, its beer and ramen is seen as some of the nation's best.

I haven't been to Hokkaido in person, but I will love to if I have a chance. These sites and food are probably where I will go and have to if I visit Hokkaido.

It is really convenient to travel in Japan, and even in its northernmost island, Hokkaido. There are 12 domestic airports and 1 international airport, so you can first visit some other places in Japan and then come to Hokkaido, or you can come straight to Hokkaido.

You can also travel in Hokkaido by the railways, JR pass and rail pass.

There are many nice hotels in Hokkaido. They are not luxurious or magnificence, but warm and comfortable.

Ghibli

Ghibli is 15 minutes away from the Sapporo city center and many other views, very convenient for tourists that are not familiar with Japan.

函館麺厨房あじさい

Hokkaido's ramen is one of the best in Japan. In Hokkaido, they seasoned the ramen differently than other places in Japan, so the ramen also tasted differently in a good way. 函館麺厨房あじさい uses the authentic way to cook ramen. It has a good repute, and I believe the ramen will taste great.

Japan's soup curry is also famous and great. It will be great to try it.

There are a lot of seafood resources in Hokkaido, and the crabs here are amazingly big and tasty. You will have to try a meal of crabs in Hokkaido.

Hokkaido is famous for tourism not only because of its food, but also because of the extraordinary views in Hokkaido. Although Hokkaido is in a high latitude, there are places that flowers blossoms, forming fascinating flower seas. Of course there is also frozen places for skiing.

Hokkaido Shrine

The first place to introduce is the Hokkaido Shrine. The shrine is a spiritual sign in Japan, so be sure to not take a photo before you ask for permission.
